This is the first week of CEdO599 Culminating Experience - Digital Futures. Our objective is to create a project that we can utilize within our profession while showcasing what we have learned throughout this masters program. I am choose to focus on creating and managing lessons for my flipped classroom for the 2012-2013 school year. Check out the highlights of my project, including my SMART goals.
This course provides me with such a great opportunity. It is incredibly valuable to work on something that I can utilize in my future. I am very excited to take what I learned from this program and integrate it into my career. One of the biggest challenges will be overcoming the frustration of independently learning about some of the technology resources that I am choosing to use. My largest source of anxiety will be figuring out how to successfully use moodle. I am however excited to take on the challenges that I may encounter and I am motivated by the thought of how this project can positively impact my students.
I'll have to spend some time looking at your link. Personally, I was thinking about using a website to help others integrate technology in either their classrooms or into their research and presentations. When I get further along, I'll send you the link and ask for your opinions. But overall, what do you think about this skeletal idea?

ReplyDeleteI think it's obvious that you've got a great start to this project, along with a clear focus of this class. As you were going to execute this flipped classroom anyway, you may as well make it into the project for this class, killing two birds with one stone. My only advice to you would be to make sure that you don't get frustrated with your change. You're doing a great thing by incorporating technological aspects, so don't let a couple of setbacks derail you.
I agree with you that this class is a great opportunity for us to finally do that project we keep thinking about or talking about. I look forward to watching your project grow and change over the next few weeks. Do you plan to try and do it this year at all or just implement right a way next year?
